Job Description


Vuori’s Vice President, Learning & Development will lead the development and execution of Vuori’s Investment in Happiness Learning & Development strategy. Building on our guiding principles of Being in Great Relationships, Making Great Product, and Living Extraordinary Lives, the Learning & Development leader has an incredible opportunity to creatively build a learning and development platform to help our teams live extraordinary lives at work and beyond. We are looking for a creative, out of the box thinker who thrives in building development programs that encompass the whole self both inside and outside of work.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Partner across the People & Culture team and with leaders throughout the organization to create an inspirational, holistic, and integrated approach to all aspects of the employee experience.
  • Create and implement comprehensive Learning & Development strategies aligned with the company’s goals, values, and competencies.
  • Build a leadership development philosophy, strategy, and framework to build a highly effective and capable community of leaders throughout the organization.
  • Build strong partnerships with our senior leadership team while working across both HQ and Retail Stores to create frameworks to support the development and engagement of multiple employee groups.
  • Oversee the design, development and evaluation of Learning solutions focusing on enterprise-wide leadership and development and values & competencies-based Learning & Development.
  • Manage Learning & Development program budgets and annual forecasting.
  • Lead future business requirements gathering for implementing an effective Learning Management System in the future.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless and integrated alignment and execution of Learning & Development strategies with broader organizational objectives.
  • Effectively manage relationships and negotiate contracts with external stakeholders.
  • Build and lead a high-performance team, providing coaching and development opportunities. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that promotes excellence.

Qualifications
  • 8-10+ years of progressive leadership experience in Learning & Development, Human Resources, and/or Talent.
  • Experience creating scalable, innovative, and creative Learning & Development solutions serving the needs of both a corporate HQ setting and a retail store environment. Must be an outside the box thinker who has proven success in building programs.
  • A strong record of accomplishment driving results, excellent leadership skills, and creatively solving for Learning & Development needs across the organization.
  • Holds a passion for staying current in modern learning and development practices to support employees at scale.
  • Thrives in looking at L&D from a holistic approach both inside and outside of work, and through the lens of looking after the wellbeing of employees.
  • Advanced knowledge of leadership development/management concepts with an ability to architect and apply modern adult learning theories to programs.
  • Exceptional at relationship management, networking, negotiation, and prioritization.
  • Exceptional team leadership, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Experience managing budgets.
  • Strong cross-functional leadership; ability to work with and influence across all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced, high growth environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree.
