Serve as the titled Chief Information Officer for Clovis Community College.
Provide project oversight and management of all major capital projects.
Oversees the daily operations of the departments/offices of IT, Plant Facilities, and Security.
Represent the college at the various state committees and departments (including but not limited to):
Collaborative for Higher Education Shared Services (CHESS)
Higher Education Department (HED)
New Mexico Council for Higher Education Computing/Communication Services (CHECS)
New Mexico Technology in Education (NMTIE)
Oversee special projects, including construction and facility development.
Review and control campus expenditures.
Interview and select appropriate professional and support employees and evaluate their performance.
Serve as a member of the President’s Council and as a member or chair of other committees as appropriate.
Assist in developing and implementing policies and procedures pertaining to IT, Security, and Plant Facilities.
Develops the information required for administrative reports and distributes the information to the President, other administrators, the Board of Trustees, and others, as required.
SCHEDULE DETAILS:
Must be available to work 40 hrs. per week with normal work hours from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Occasional evening and weekend hours may be required.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Requires frequent standing, sitting, walking and continuous movement within the College and off-site locations. Requires frequent pushing and pulling, carrying, and lifting of up to 10 lbs. Continuous handling of paper and paper materials required.

Minimum Qualifications:MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Master’s degree in a discipline related to the IT, Business, or Facilities Management is required. Leadership experience in higher education required.
The successful candidate must demonstrate a strong commitment to teamwork and diversity, as well as display outstanding leadership, managerial, technical and interpersonal skills guided by personal integrity. Track record of implementing long-range growth-sustainability strategies in a mission-based organization.
An aptitude and understanding of ERP systems, both On-Premise (Ellucian Banner) and Cloud (Workday) services.
An aptitude and understanding of Plant Facilities.
An aptitude and understanding of campus security.
Ability to engage the Board members in strategic plans for the business of the College.
Ability to utilize tools to unite business history, short-term goals and long-term strategies into transparent, understandable formats.
Proven track record of strategic planning with a proactive, decisive style that correlates with long term goals and mission.
Must be highly motivated and self-directed person who can integrate diverse constituencies (students, faculty, staff, and services) within the overarching strategic plan. Outstanding written and oral communication skills.
Ability to synthesize and explain complex information to a wide range of audiences.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
A minimum of ten years’ experience in a supervisory role, preferably with multi-divisional oversight, preferred.
