The VP​ of DigitalConsumer Experience and Clinical Enablement will directly report to the System SVP, Chief Clinical Application and Data Officer.  As a key member of the Applications, Consumer Experience, Data, Digital and Delivery Team, the VP​ of DigitalConsumer Experience and Clinical Enablement will partner closely with Marketing, Branding, Physician Enterprise, Division and Clinical Leadership and staff to set the vision, strategy and execution for the development and enhancement of consumer-facing digital front doors, products, clinical applications and medical imaging.

 

This position will manage the implementation and development of growth and differentiation-focused consumer-centered initiatives such as Web Content Management Platforms, Consumer Data Platforms (CDP), Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Platforms, Patient Portal Platforms, and Marketing Tech and Enablement platforms nationwide for CommonSpirit Health. The leader in this role will be expected to collaboratively develop roadmaps for platform, product, service enhancements and new capabilities. The VP​ of DigitalConsumer Experience and Clinical Enablement will work in a matrix model with key National IT leaders to deliver technology and digital solutions that provide efficient, reliable, scalable and secure applications and processes that will drive consumer engagement, optimize clinical work-flows and support organizational growth. This leader will also lead the Medical Imaging and PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication Systems) function to enable technology optimization and support to radiologists, cardiologists and Clinical staff. This leadership role requires a deep understanding of the healthcare industry and the use of Digital platforms and third party products to enhance the patient experience, improve growth, reduce costs, improve efficiency and enable differentiation. Specifically, a deep understanding of optimizing medical imaging technology and work-flows to enable quicker report turnaround leading to faster diagnosis and treatment of patients is key in this role. The VP​ of DigitalConsumer Experience and Clinical Enablement will lead a team that spans: Product Management, Product Engineering, Platform Engineering, Virtual Care Services and Care Transformation functions. Some of the solutions managed by this team include: Consumer Facing Digital Front Doors, Provider Directory, Search/Schedule/Registration, Patient Connection Center, Clinical Command Ceter, Virtual Health, Care Innovation, Automation, Medical Imaging; PACS and Provider Enablement solutions. The VP​ of DigitalConsumer Experience and Clinical Enablement must be a highly driven, hands-on Executive with a natural inclination for leading change. This individual will have a people-centric leadership style with focus on partnering, and be capable of influencing through data and relationships.

 

ESSENTIAL KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute IT strategies that align with the ministry’s goals to enhance Consumer Experience and streamline clinical operations. Collaboratively set the technology, business, and product vision and strategy for Digital Front Doors, along with key business stakeholders such as Marketing, Branding, Physician Enterprise, and Division Leadership that will enable CommonSpirit Health to achieve its strategic goals.

• Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with clinical teams and administrative leadership to understand their technology needs and challenges. Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure IT solutions are cohesively integrated into their processes.
Consumer Experience Enhancement: Oversee the design and implementation of Digital platforms to optimize the consumer’s journey from awareness to post care. Collaborate with marketing and operations to leverage technology that will improve consumer engagement and satisfaction. Introduces, manages and enhances consumer-focused solutions such as Web Content Management Platforms, Consumer Data Platforms, Customer Relationship Management Platforms, Patient Portal Platforms, and Marketing Tech and Enablement platforms across our Ministry.
Clinical Enablement: Champion the adoption of cutting-edge technologies and systems to enhance clinical work-flows.
• Medical Imaging Optimization; PACS: Optimze applications to stay on the cutting edge of technology and support the strategy for long-term storage of imaging studies.
• Product Management: Collaboratively develop roadmaps, milestones, outcomes, and performance metrics, for existing platforms, products, and services and their enhancements and new capabilities based on division and national needs and market opportunities, at scale.
• Brand Strategy: Support Brand in developing and maintaining the brand strategy, including positioning and messaging.
• MarCom Strategy: In partnership with Marketing formulate a strategy for how various marketing communications channels will be used to enhance Consumer Experiences.
• Content Strategy: Enable the creation of content that resonates with consumers and aligns with brand’s voice and image.
• SEO Strategy: Collaborate with the SEO team to ensure content strategy aligns with SEO objectives to enhance digital visibility.
• Digital Communications Strategy: Oversee the digital communications strategy, including website, social media, and email marketing.
• Technology Innovation: Stay up to date on emerging technologies in healthcare and assess their potential applications for enhancing Consumer Experience and Clinical operations.

• Team Development: Lead and mentor the Consumer Experience and Clinical Enablement Team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.

• Data Management; Analytics: Promote the use of data-driven decision making, leveraging analytics to optimize the Consumer Experience, drive operational efficiency and improve financial performance.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure IT Systems and processes comply with relevant healthcare IT regulations, including patient data security and privacy standards.
• Financial Stewardship: Demonstrate effective financial stewardship by evaluating alternatives, perform cost benefit analysis, and recommend solutions within corporate policies and standards.
• Budget Oversight: Develop and manage the budget for Consumer Experience and Clinical Enablement Team, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
• Vendor Relations: Evaluate and manage relationships with IT vendors, ensuring optimal value and service for Consumer Experience and Clinical Enablement.
• Risk Management: Implement robust cybersecurity measures and disaster recovery plans to safeguard patient data and maintain system uptime.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Life Sciences, Business Management, Engineering, Finance, Accounting, Computer Science
Master’s Degree in related areas preferred.
10+ years of experience in leadership roles.
15+ years of professional experience in healthcare IT, Product Management, Product Engineering, Medical Imaging; PACS and/or Leading enablement of Consumer/Patient facing products and capabilities.
Management experience leading a team responsible for digital healthcare platforms, marketing and engagement platforms and medical imaging.

Compensation Range: $80.77 to $113.07, hourly rates, annualized. Position is eligible for incentive pay based on company performance.
