VP of Data, Analytics, & Insights (Digital Marketing)

Ignite Visibility, a fast-growing and award-winning marketing agency, is looking for a highly skilled full-time Vice President of Data, Analytics, and Insights to join our fast-growing and fully remote team, based in San Diego, CA. This position is a great opportunity for an individual with demonstrated Data, Analytics, and Insights expertise to apply and grow their skills on enterprise clients while working with a talented team, advanced processes, and interesting marketing campaigns.

The Vice President of Data, Analytics, and Insights will be responsible for leading a team who enables data tracking, provides customer insights and manages Ignite Visibility’s data warehouse and visualization tools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leadership in CertaintyTech Development:
  • Spearhead the development and integration of Data Enablement & Utilization tools.
  • Ensure software solutions align with business goals and client needs.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement in technology.
• Management
  • Oversee a team of 5 people who create dashboards, enable tracking, and troubleshoot issues.
• Dashboard Creation and Management:
  • Guide team in the orchestration of Data workflows (via BigQuery) & interactive visualizations (via Looker Studio).
  • Ensure dashboards provide actionable insights for clients and internal teams.
• Data Analysis and Insights Generation:
  • Lead the analysis of complex data sets to uncover trends, patterns, and insights.
  • Guide the adoption & education surrounding advanced analytics methodology (including but not limited to Media Mix Modeling (MMM)).
  • Translate data findings into clear, actionable strategies for clients.
  • Regularly present insights to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Methodology Development:
  • Create and standardize methodologies for data collection, analysis, and reporting.
  • Ensure methodologies adhere to industry best practices.
• Sales Support and Collaboration:
  • Assist the sales team by providing data-driven insights and presentations.
  • Collaborate on pitches and proposals to secure new business.
• Tracking and Analytics Enablement:
  • Oversee team dedicated to data capture solution design & implementation, including the adoption of Server-Side data portability solutions.
  • Ensure accurate and comprehensive data collection across multiple channels.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in a similar leadership role in data and analytics within an advertising and Digital Marketing settings.
• Strong background in quantitative modeling techniques.
• Expertise in product development and project management.
• Proficient in data visualization tools and dashboards.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights.
• Agency Digital Marketing experience.
