The position of VP National Datacom will be Remote!
Summary
The VP National Datacom will lead Rexel USA in successfully developing and executing the national Datacom and Low Voltage strategy and offer plan across Rexel USA regions and banners. Works directly with the regions and designated Datacom Low Voltage Business Development Directors to establish and assist in the regional execution and development of the strategy for their respective geographies. VP National Datacom works closely with our supplier partners to continually develop Rexel's offer plan and leverage our national position to maximize the benefits of the program and our vendors assistance.
What You'll Do
  • Lead efforts for developing our National Datacom strategy within the regions and our vendor community
  • Assist with regions in developing specific strategy based on opportunities and structure and commitment of region and banners
  • Establish the datacom community and develop regular cadence of communication and information sharing to assist efforts of progress
  • Work with sourcing community and commercial leadership to establish our national product and service offering for datacom
  • Assists with marketing efforts to publicize and broadcast Rexel's Datacom and Low Voltage initiative and strategy to maximize external and internal engagement
  • Provide regular updates to the business and regional leadership on progress and results (Sales/profitability)
  • Communicate new offers, best practices, challenges, and opportunities across the business
  • Lead efforts for national trade shows and NAED events representing Rexel USA and our goals and ambitions
  • Establish 3-5 year road map of sales and profitability, investment needs and overall performance expectations
  • Work closely with our partner community assisting regions with comprehensive training programs and national content
  • Other duties as assigned

What You'll Need
  • High School or GED
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • 10+ years of experience within the Datacom Low Voltage market segment
  • Electrical Distribution selling and/or management leadership experience
  • Datacom selling and/or management leadership experience
  • New market development experience preferred with executing regional or national strategy

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Extensive datacom and low voltage, AV, security, telecom product and manufacturer knowledge
  • Electrical product knowledge
  • Strong communication skills (ability to effectively communicate in the board room or at the field level)
  • Strong Leadership skills - Lead from the front, inclusive leadership characteristics
