Job Description:

Exciting new opportunity to join MSK as Vice President (VP) of HIM, Revenue Integrity, and Clinical Operations. This is a unique opportunity to join one of the world's leading cancer centers and contribute to our mission of ending cancer for life.

Position Overview:

Reporting directly to the SVP of Clinical Services and the SVP of Financial Operations, the VP plays a pivotal role in providing strategic leadership and operational oversight across multiple critical areas at MSK. The VP will be instrumental in optimizing Clinical Operations, health information management, and Revenue Integrity programs to support MSK's mission and financial health.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing Clinical Operations, including bed utilization, patient flow, and quality of care.
  • Leading health information management initiatives to maintain accurate digital health records and support billing processes.
  • Developing and implementing strategies to optimize revenue capture for clinical services.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive strategic planning and process improvement initiatives.
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • 15+ years of progressive and cumulative job-specific healthcare experience, with a minimum of 10 years in executive-level leadership for multispecialty departments and complex revenue cycle operations
  • Extensive experience with Epic systems optimization, and support; implementation experience strongly desired
  • Prior coding and charge capture knowledge and experience is ideal
  • Track record of success leading teams and driving results in complex, highly matrixed organizations.

Additional Information:

The VP will collaborate closely with executive leaders, department chairs, and clinical leaders to execute strategic objectives and address challenges within MSK. Participation at a national level to ensure best practices for areas of oversight is expected.

This is a hybrid role that requires flexibility to be onsite at MSK in NYC multiple days per week for stakeholder meetings and collaboration at various sites (1275 York Ave, 633 Third Ave, etc.). We are considering candidates who are open to relocation.

Salary Range: $264,100.00-$449,100.00
