The VP, Food & Beverage will share responsibility for the overall direction, strategy, and performance of our Food and Beverage operations, including core concessions, restaurants, bars, and merchandise. They will collaborate with F&B peers, F&B category leads, and key cross-departmental project leads to develop and implement strategies that optimize revenue growth. They will ensure that we provide our guests with a memorable and satisfying Food and Beverage experience that enhances their movie-going experience and drives loyalty and revenue.
Responsibilities
- Create and execute effective business and marketing strategies to improve F&B profitability through increase sales, purchase incidence, and guest satisfaction
- Monitor and analyze the financial performance and operational metrics of the Food and Beverage department, identifying areas of improvement with a focus on cost-of-goods controls
- Collaborate in the development and implementation of short-term and long-term Food and Beverage goals and plans that align with our company vision, mission, and values.
- Collaborate with Operations to optimize Food and Beverage operations across all theatres, ensuring consistency and efficiency
- Manage the product development and promotion of Food and Beverage offerings, keeping up with the latest trends and customer preferences
- Lead, coach, and motivate a team of Food and Beverage directors, managers, and staff, providing training, feedback, and recognition
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that encourages innovation, creativity, and teamwork
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors, suppliers, partners, and internal stakeholders, resolving issues as needed, and assisting with contract negotiations
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations, as well as company policies and procedures, regarding food safety, sanitation, alcohol service, and labor practices
- Stay abreast of the industry best practices, competitors, and market conditions, and provide recommendations and insights to management
Basic Qualifications
- 10 years of progressive Food and Beverage management experience, preferably in a CPG or entertainment setting
- Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, business, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful Food and Beverage strategies, plans, and programs that drive revenue and profitability
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and influence others
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to use data and metrics to support recommendations and actions
- High level of creativity, innovation, and adaptability, with the ability to anticipate and respond to changing customer needs and market trends
- Proficient in MS 365, Inventory systems (Crunchtime preferred), and other relevant software and tools
