Position

WCF Insurance has an immediate opening for someone who can demonstrate the WCF values to join their team as a VP, Digital Services, reporting to the SVP, Small Business. This is a full-time, exempt position based out of WCF Insurance's Sandy headquarters. This position is open to internal and external candidates.

Summary

The person in this position is responsible for developing, leading, and overseeing the digital business initiatives at WCF. This person will be driving change, mentoring staff, cultivating a culture of continuous improvement, and ensuring successful execution of customer centric strategies. This person's teams will collaborate closely with business teams across the organization to determine priorities and roadmaps for their current and future initiatives. The team will also be working closely with IT development teams to design and prioritize solutions aligned with current and future needs.

Responsibilities

• Develop digital roadmaps for current and future products and features, focusing on enhancing experience for customers, agents, and internal employees, while driving conversion, retention, efficiency, and profitability.
• Keep current with new technologies and competitors to identify and evaluate digital opportunities that drive competitive advantage and enhance customer value.
• Collaborate with department leadership and other partner teams and driving critical initiatives with clear goals and success criteria.
• Lead and develop a team of digital product owners fluent in systems development collaboration tools (such as Jira and Confluence), responsible for prioritization of digital maintenance, tasks, enhancements, and projects to create efficiencies and ensure strategic alignment and execution.
• Oversee digital product development and maintenance to ensure their ongoing alignment with business goals.
• Develop and implement change management initiatives to maximize return on digital assets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• At least eight years of work experience in roles that were delivering impact around complex, cross-functional use cases (or 12 years of related work experience without a degree.)
• Demonstrated ability to develop, lead, and implement successful digital initiatives.
• Strong quantitative analytical and data skills and business acumen.
• Demonstrated creativity in problem-solving and intuitive thinking.
• Exceptional communications, customer service, project management, and organization skills.
• Ability to translate organizational objectives into team priorities and focuses, ensuring alignment and execution.

An internal candidate should have six months in their current position, acceptable job performance, and must notify their current supervisor that they have applied for the position.
