Job Summary

 

The VP, Digital Partnerships Lead will drive new and existing partner relationships across Banc of California’s digital banking initiatives. As a VP, Digital Partnerships Lead, you will play a critical role in helping the Bank build a diverse and impactful digital ecosystem. The candidate will develop a deep understanding of the performance of partnership products and the clients using those products. In addition to driving partnerships, the VP, Digital Partnerships Lead will also help in executing key digital banking initiatives across the client journey. The candidate will synthesize insights through data analysis and develop actionable strategies that will help the bank gain market share and deepen existing client experiences. A successful candidate will collaborate with key stakeholders across the Digital Banking team, cross-functional teams and feel confident in interacting with senior management


  • Proactively seek and lead initiatives with Partners to inform growth strategy using data analysis.
  • Use experience in analytics tools to produce actionable insights.
  • Design, build and maintain critical data pipelines to ensure highly accurate and reliable business reporting.
  • Be an advocate for innovation and help to drive a client experience driven culture.
  • Collaborate with business leaders, subject matter experts, and decision makers to develop success criteria and optimize new products, features and models.
  • Have an analytical mindset and experience with market sizing and partnership ROI.
  • Ability to assess, design and build partnership criteria.
  • Lead cross functional teams to complete POCs, partnership solutions and joint commercialization plans.
  • Communicate key results to senior management in verbal, visual, and written media.
  • Work to implement best practices across digital banking initiatives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Required: 8 - 10 years’ minimum experience evaluating and launching new partnerships and digital solutions, or in innovation catalyst teams
  • Preferred: Experience in business/commercial banking, startup, Fintech, or venture-like operating model
  • Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Business or a related field
  • Preferred: Master’s degree or higher
  • Ability to self-prioritize and work in collaboration with multiple partner managers, product managers and marketing managers as a front-line analytics partner
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with diverse technical and non-technical groups, spanning all organizational levels
  • Ability to drive projects and create new processes
  • Detail-orientated and organized
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Self-starter, ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Advanced Microsoft Office
  • Role requires sitting or standing in front of a computer monitor for prolonged periods of time in a fixed neck position.
  • Constant use of a computer or other office equipment resulting in repeating motions of the hands and wrists.
  • Light work that may include moving objects up to 20 pounds.

Salary Range: $145,741.44- 242,910.72;  Final salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with geographic/market data.
