QUALIFICATIONS
Should possess the following:
· Organizational skills
· Strong multitasking skills
· Strong written and verbal communication skills
· Strong computer/technology skills
· Knowledge and/or experience of Special Olympics/non-profit organizations preferred
· Knowledge of event and volunteer management preferred
· Must be willing to work evenings, weekends, and long hours
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
· Recruit and coordinate volunteers for all Oahu fundraisers and competitions
· Process and monitor records for Class A Volunteers
· Track Coaches Certification program
· Track, schedule and manage volunteers using VSys (Volunteer Software Program)
· Create and maintain recognition system for volunteers
· Ongoing outreach for new volunteer sources (speak at community organizations, clubs, schools, etc.
· Create/maintain outreach materials/information
· Ensure optimal volunteer opportunity visible through media, social media and community relations sources
· Create and implement short and long term goals/plans to enhance volunteer operations
· Develop and manage annual operating budget for Volunteer Programs

Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
