Job Description:
As a Volunteer Event Coordinator, you'll play a vital role in organizing volunteer activities, engaging our community, and supporting our events. If you're a people person with a knack for planning and teamwork, this is the perfect opportunity for you.
Responsibilities:
1. **Recruit and Manage Volunteers:**
- Find and onboard volunteers to support our programs and events.
- Keep volunteers informed and motivated with regular updates.
2. **Plan and Support Events:**
- Assist in organizing meetings, drives, and special events.
- Make sure everything runs smoothly on event day.
3. **Engage with the Community:**
- Connect with local groups to expand our volunteer network.
- Be the friendly face of our organization in the community.
4. **Administrative Tasks:**
- Help with paperwork, stats, and reports to keep things organized.
- Support our development team with special projects.
Qualifications:
- Friendly attitude with excellent communication skills.
- Organized and detail-oriented.
- Comfortable with basic computer tasks (Microsoft Office, email, etc.).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
