Under the supervision of the Practice Manager, the LVN will serve patients and assist clinicians of the Arthur Ashe Student Health and Wellness Center. The LVN will carry out nursing functions according to written standing orders or clinician order. The LVN will act in the role of a Clinic Assistant when needed. The LVN will assist in maintaining the Allergy/Immunization Clinic.
Hours may include evenings and weekends.

Qualifications Required/Preferred
Possession of the legal requirements to practice as a Licensed Vocation Nurse, as determined by the California Board of Licensed Vocation Nursing.

Skill in interacting diplomatically to establish rapport and maintain positive working relationships with staff, students, administrators and personnel in other departments.

Venipuncture, Phlebotomy Certification, or Intravenous Therapy and Blood Withdrawal Certified.
