Easterseals Florida is seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented, and compassionate individual for the Part-Time Healthcare Vocational Instructor position for our Workforce Development team in Florida (Orlando/Apopka or Naples). The Vocational Instructor is responsible for providing in person vocational instruction, guidance, employability, and skills training in the healthcare field to individuals with disabilities.

A snapshot of what you'll do:
- Teach vocational training using Easterseals Florida Developed healthcare curriculum
- Provide vocational counseling, including identification of vocational objectives
- Provide assistance to program participants in obtaining
- Maintain a classroom environment conducive to learning and appropriate to the physical, social, and emotional development of program participants
- Manage student behavior in the classroom and in the community
- Use technologies in the teaching/learning process
- Present a positive role model for program participants
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree majoring in rehabilitation, healthcare, counseling, social work, psychology, education, or relevant field
- Current Florida Certified Nursing Assistant License
- Two years' experience teaching, nursing assistant courses preferred
- Two years work experience in home health care, or other health care settings which utilizes nursing assistant
- Current CPR and First Aid Certification
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel), and strong ability working with technology
- Experience working with persons with disabilities on job skills training self-advocacy training, or daily living skills training, as well as assisting with personal needs such as monitoring behaviors
- Ability to meet our approved driver qualifications in order to drive our vehicles, as required to drive for program related business (also must be at least 21 years old)
