Visual Showroom Merchandiser

Currently, we are seeking a Freelance Visual Merchandiser to assist in our Gift Product Showroom based in Saco, Maine. The hours will fluctuate on an as needed basis, with busiest times being in February and July.

This creative individual will be responsible for:

• Unboxing new products.
• Merchandising products according to plan-o-grams.
• Maintaining each brand’s display, ensuring it is orderly and full.
• Remove and package obsolete merchandise from the showroom floor.
• Ensure a clean workspace; including but not limited to light dusting of shelves, breaking down boxes, removing garbage.
• Uploading before and after photos of the showroom for each visit.

Qualified candidates will possess:

• 2+ years of Merchandising experience in the gift industry.
• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to read and understand English.
• Use of small manual and powered hand tools.
• Maintain a quick work pace with optimum time management to improve productivity.
• Comfortable with standing or moving for long periods of time
• Ability to lift and move 50 pounds or more.
• Physically able to reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, and climbing ladders as needed.
