Responsibilities:

• Sort items into auction lots according to specified criteria
• Develop a thorough understanding of various items, from antiques to everyday household goods
• Utilize mobile devices for efficient communication and photography
• Assist with estate sales, identifying saleable items and managing inventory
• Interact with customers during sale days, ensuring a positive experience
• Lift and move items weighing up to 50lbs as required
• Maintain flexibility with scheduling to accommodate peak auction times
• Familiarity with Apple products is preferred

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
• Basic photography knowledge is beneficial
• Comfortable working with technology, including mobile devices
• Previous experience in auctions or related fields is advantageous
• Interest in estate sales or willingness to learn about various items is desirable
• Must be willing to work in a potentially dirty environment
• Consent to a background check is required

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $16.28 per year

Expected hours: 5 – 30 per week
