Job Summary
The staffing coordinator is responsible for creating and maintaining clinicians' schedules according to patient needs, geolocation, and case managers' plan. The staffer must maintain excellent relationships with the field clinicians, be aware of their availability and special skills, and coverage areas. The employee must submit the schedules before the end of the day and report to case managers, operations managers, and the DON.
Responsibilities
- - Accept new referrals on daily basis and create schedules based on the referral requirements.
- - Organize active patient schedules based on the priorities and requirements.
- - Manage, organize, and troubleshoot the patient and staffing log every day.
- - Keep field staff availability updated and posted.
- - Keep the EMR system up to date.
- - Maintain excellent relationships with the clinicians.
- - Communicate with the nurses and patients and troubleshoot based on the situations.
- - Provide accurate information and updates to nurses for daily schedule.
- - Create the route of the nurses properly.
- - Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- - Healthcare agency experience (preferred)

Additional Requirements:
- - Ability to schedule staffing for RN's, and LVN's over the weekend as scheduled
- - Ability to take on-call for coordinating staffing needs, troubleshooting, and guiding the nurses.
- - Ability to direct and coordinate multiple functions
