Position Summary
The Visiting Research Associate I will be responsible for overseeing recruitment into a clinical research study by interacting with different community groups and research subjects. This position conducts research by preparing literature reviews and assisting with the collection, entering, coding and cleaning of data and descriptive results.
Duties & Responsibilities

Assisting with the development and implementation of a research protocol

Disseminating information about the research project

Conduct research by informing target community about the research and documenting results

Recruitment and pre-screening of potential study participants.

Facilitate participant recruitment into ongoing an research study

Data collection and management.

Identify avenues for ongoing opportunities to inform people about ongoing research study

Order materials, information packets and distribute among target community

Record interactions and feedback for analysis to refine research recruitment opportunities.

Maintain communication database on social media and other communication media

Facilitate content posting on social media announcements about research opportunities.

Maintain records of outreach opportunities

Other research-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in social science, Kinesiology and Nutrition or related field required.
• Knowledge of fundamental research concepts, practices and procedures.
• Entry level knowledge of research methods.

Preferred Qualifications
1 year experience in administrative and research support
