- Provide individual and group counseling sessions to address students' social, emotional, and behavioral needs.
- Conduct assessments and develop personalized treatment plans in collaboration with students, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
- Implement evidence-based interventions to support students in managing challenging behaviors and developing coping skills.
- Serve as a liaison between school, families, and community resources to ensure comprehensive student support.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to developing individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans (BIPs).
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to create a positive, inclusive school culture promoting social-emotional learning and mental wellness.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records/documentation of services provided and progress notes.
**Qualifications:**
- Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or School Service Personnel Certificate K-12 (formerly Type 73) required
- Experience working with children and adolescents in educational or mental health settings.
- Knowledge of trauma-informed practices and experience with diverse populations.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to changing needs.
- Commitment to cultural competency, equity, and social justice.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic health record (EHR) systems.
