Virtual Occupational Therapistin Pennsylvania(2023-2024 School Year)
Are you a passionate Occupational Therapist with a desire to make a meaningful impact on students' lives? We have an exciting opportunity for a Virtual Occupational Therapist to join our team and provide crucial support to schools nationwide, all from the convenience of your home.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct virtual assessments to evaluate students' physical, sensory, motor, and cognitive abilities
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create individualized education plans (IEPs) for students
- Provide virtual therapy sessions to students using video conferencing technology
- Recommend and help students and educators implement assistive technology tools or adaptations to facilitate learning and independence
- Maintain regular communication with teachers, special education teams, and parents to ensure coordinated care and alignment with students' educational goals
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
- Current Pennsylvania OTlicense
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working with students with communication disorders
- Experience providing virtual therapy services is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Fast/reliable computer & internet connection
- No Chromebooks/tablets permitted
