Fully Remote School Speech Language Pathologist Jobin Decatur, GA
VocoVision is partnering with a school district in the Decatur, GAarea in search of a remote Speech Therapist for the 2024 semester. This position will treat you as an independent contractor, meaning you'll be able to schedule your own work hours while providing online services for students in need. All contracts with VocoVision are 1099 with the goal of providing better flexibility. Position Details
- 1099 independent contracting structure
- K-12grade caseload with mild-moderate symptoms
- Full-time expected hours (see below for more details)
- We work with a Zoom Plus application (HIPAA/FERPA compliant)
- You will be able to bill for both direct time with students in addition to time spent
Start and End Dates: ASAP to 06/2024
School Hours: 8:00 to 3:30 PM local time
- Full-time hours (35-40 hours in total, including time for planning and IEP management)
- You can complete any indirect hours at your own time.
Requirements
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related degree.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).
- Georgia professional licenseas an SLP.
- Georgia educational certificate as an SLP.
- Two years of experience in a school setting (preferred).
- Professional liability insurance coverage to work with students.
- Home computer with camera and microphone functions with strong internet connection.
Responsibilities
- Conduct virtual assessments and evaluations for speech, language, and articulation needs.
- Provide remote therapy and intervention services as needed based on specificIEP needs.
- Develop Individualized Educational Plans (IEPs) for each student based on results of assessments.
- Collaborate with onsite teachers and professionals to advocate for student needs.
- Participate in virtual IEP meetings with family and faculty members.
