Virtual Financial Service Representative
Job Description
Summary:
The Virtual Financial Services Representative serves as an experienced customer service associate and will be responsible for supporting the Retail Branches, Business Bankers, Treasury Management Officers, Relationship Managers and Private Banking in the servicing of our clients.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Performs duties in new account opening and new account checkback
  • Have knowledge of bank products and services in order to make recommendations based on client needs.
  • Contacts clients to complete the new business account opening process
  • Manages workflow to meet service level agreement standards for turn times on new account generation.
  • Maintains internal controls and meets regulatory compliance.
  • Ensures accurate tracking and documentation of account and customer information.
  • Follows up and assists in clearing documentation discrepancies with a high level of accuracy.
  • Identifies, documents and corrects inconsistencies and errors in collected data or established procedures.
  • Assist QA Team with review of Policy & Procedures for accuracy and needed revisions.
  • Provides concierge service to clients during account opening and onboarding
  • Responds and handles associate/client inquiries promptly and accurately. Works with other departments to respond to inquiries with a high level of professionalism and service.
  • Completes training required to maintain job knowledge and skills.
  • Attends meetings to stay abreast of policy and procedures.
  • Performs other duties and projects as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Ability to function productively in a high volume and fast paced environment
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to lead and coach others to customer service standards
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the skills necessary to deal tactfully and professionally with customers, employees, senior management, auditors and regulators
  • Good organizational skills, a high level of accuracy and strong attention to detail
  • Effective time management and the ability to work independently in a team environment
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with complete confidentiality and professionalism
  • Strong knowledge of and ability to adhere to all applicable federal and state laws and regulations, including, but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and related anti-money laundering laws and Office of Foreign Asset Controls (OFAC)

Supervisory Responsibilities:
  • None

Education and Experience:
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Associate's degree in business related field or equivalent experience: or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience working in an environment with individual and team goals preferred
  • Customer service experience required

Computer and Software Skills:
  • Knowledge of, and the ability to use current technology proficiently, including a personal computer, keyboard and mouse, Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word and Excel) and other technology based tools
