Virtual Classroom Assistant

Responsibilities:
- Assist the lead teacher in implementing curriculum and lesson plans

- Support students in their educational and developmental needs

- Provide individualized attention and assistance to students

- Help manage student behavior and maintain a positive classroom environment

- Collaborate with the lead teacher to create a safe and inclusive learning environment

- Assist with classroom organization, including setting up materials and resources

- Lead classroom activities for 5-10 minutes at a time.

Skills:
- Experience working with students in an educational setting
- Ability to effectively manage student behavior and promote positive interactions
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with teachers, parents, and other staff members
- Ability to adapt to the needs of a diverse group of students
- Patience, empathy, and a passion for educating young children

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 25 per week
