Job Summary:
Gallery Dept. is seeking experienced, customer service-oriented VIP Store Assistant to work at our Flagship store in Los Angeles. The VIP Sales assistant will work closely with the VIP Sales Manager to organize calendars, set and confirm appointments, greet and service clients, and initiate client follow-up communications. This role will assist the VIP Sales Manager in providing our clients with top-level luxury shopping experience. The right candidate will be positive, communicative, well organized, trustworthy and assist in any client/sale needs. This candidate will have a strong understanding of the fashion/art world, the community, and clients we cater to.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Manage VIP Sales Manager's calendar, booking and confirming appointments.
- Follow up with client shipping and alterations, communicating with both the client and the VIP Sales Manager
- Act as point of contact for clients when VIP Sales Manager is not available or traveling.
- Greet clients; if needed, provide a tour of the Flagship store while sharing the culture, vision, values of Gallery Dept.
- Determine client's needs, address any related concerns.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with VIP clients.
- Proactively anticipate client needs and preferences to enhance the overall VIP experience.
- Maintain a sophisticated demeanor and comfortable presence around high-net-worth individuals and celebrities demonstrating professionalism and composure.
- Superior product, packing presentation and handling skills of purchased garments.
- Efficient and accurate processing of products.
- Process sales transactions for VIP Sales Manager through POS system.
- When in-store maintain high cleanliness standards.
- Assist as needed with cleaning up and restocking after clients have finished shopping.
- Maintain a positive work environment through teamwork, collaboration, and communication.
- Always maintain and apply the company's procedures and policies.
- Perform other reasonable job functions as assigned by an immediate supervisor and/or other store management.

Education and Experience:
- High School diploma or bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or relevant field experience
- Two years' experience in a similar role, preferably in a luxury retail environment
- Willingness to learn and tackle new challenges.
