The Violence Prevention Psychotherapist is a member of the Lincoln Public School Centralized Threat Assessment Team and regularly exercises clinical discretion and independent judgment on matters of safety management. The position primarily provides coaching, consultation, crisis intervention, social skills teaching, brief solution focused therapy, family education, safety planning, and communication of clinical impressions to school personnel, the district safety team, and others as needed. The primary goal of the Violence Prevention Psychotherapist position is to provide therapeutic intervention for students in order to improve behavioral health and safety outcomes.
This position will begin with the 2024-25 school year starting August 12, 2024.
