Videographer/Editor

Overview:

We are looking for a Videographer/Editor who can produce engaging and high-quality social media content for us.

We are a skincare/cosmetics company so the ideal candidate will have prior experience shooting with beauty products.

Scripts will be provided, but it will be up to you to come up with the shot list, shoot the content, and edit the video. You will be asked to shoot a mix of reels, posts, and stories.

Our primary presence is on TikTok, but we are looking to expand our Instagram presence. We are looking to produce a lot of content (e.g. posting twice a day), so we are looking for individuals who have a clear editing style, and can execute both quickly and confidently.

We have a set built with lighting and camera equipment. We shoot with actors and so the right candidate should be comfortable directing as well.

The position can be hybrid. You will be required to be present on site to shoot the content, but you will have the option to edit remotely. There is a dedicated workspace for you whatever you decide to do. Local hires are preferred.

This is a 1099 position to start for the first 90 days in order to determine suitability. This is very much a position that can grow within the company as we are looking to invest in our production capabilities.

Duties:

- Create shot lists from scripts

- Shoot social media content with actors based on script and shot list

- Edit raw footage into polished videos, ensuring seamless transitions, proper color grading, and engaging visual effects

- Ensure that all videos adhere to brand guidelines and maintain a consistent visual style

- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and delivering exceptional results

Experience:

- Proficiency with video editing software and strong knowledge of video editing techniques

- Experience with photography and film production

- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team

- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $24.00 - $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 25 per week
