We are looking for someone to help make large batches of short-form Vertical Content for a New Music Artist.
This is a role that combines creativity, technical expertise, and a passion for music. In this position, you will be at the forefront of creating short-form video content. Your responsibilities will include conceptualizing content ideas, overseeing the shooting process (either directly or guiding the artist for self-shooting in remote settings), and editing the footage using CapCut or equivalent software.
You must be on top of the latest short-form trends (TikTok, Reels, YouTube Shorts), proficient in CapCut, and willing to travel.

Responsibilities
Content Conceptualization and Strategy
- Develop innovative and engaging short-form video content ideas for each song, ensuring they align with the artist's brand and appeal to the target audience on social media platforms.
- Stay abreast of current trends in social media content, especially in the music industry, to ensure content is fresh, relevant, and capable of capturing audience attention.
Video Production and Direction
- Direct and oversee the video shooting process, employing creative filming techniques to produce content that complements the music.
- Provide clear guidance and direction for self-shooting scenarios when working remotely with the artist, ensuring quality and consistency in the visual content.
- Coordinate with the artist and other team members to ensure smooth and efficient video production, respecting deadlines and project timelines.
Video Editing and Post-Production
- Skillfully edit videos using CapCut or equivalent editing software, ensuring the final product is polished, engaging, and aligns with the artist's vision.
- Apply various editing techniques like cuts, transitions, color grading, and effects to enhance the storytelling and visual appeal of each video.
- Optimize videos for different social media platforms, understanding the nuances of each platform to maximize reach and engagement.
Requirements
Technical Skills
- Proven experience in videography and video editing, preferably in the music or entertainment industry.
- Expertise in using CapCut or similar video editing software, with a strong portfolio showcasing past work.
- Knowledge of various video formats and best practices for optimizing content for social media platforms.
Soft Skills
- Exceptional creative thinking and storytelling abilities, with a knack for translating musical themes into compelling visual content.
- Strong communication skills, capable of collaborating effectively with artists and team members, both in-person and remotely.
