We are currently recruiting for the position of: 

Video Producer - Modesto, CA

Job Summary: 

The Video Producer will handle the content creation, design, and production of video and visual materials.  This includes, but is not limited to, content for internal communications and training, social media, public relations, community relations, graphic design for presentations and communications platforms, executive photography, and audio-visual support for large corporate meetings. The content and graphics will be  compelling and inspire, inform, engage, or captivate the 14,000 associates across our organization. The end product will be consistent with brand standards and supportive of company priorities and initiatives. This Producer will work closely with various internal teams to develop best-in-class video, graphics, and content that elevate how we communicate consistently, especially visually with our audiences.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities: 

•        Oversee the entire process of defining requirements, visualizing, and creating videos, layouts, and images in support of editorial and associate engagement content needs
•        Be rigorous with brand standards for each of the three store banner brands: Save Mart, Lucky and FoodMaxx, as well as the company brand of The Save Mart Companies
•        Write program briefs in collaboration with the requester (defining the target audience, business purpose, message points, communications objectives, deliverables, success metrics), write scripts, location scouting and preparation, manage shoot and post-production processes, including editing and approval cycle
•        Work collaboratively with PR, social, and marketing teams to ensure consistent communications across channels
•        Manage production shoots with company executives; prepare and draft scripts, maintaining consistent key messages, coach interviewees throughout each shoot, edit and post-production
•        Manage the on-site and mobile studio, and the maintenance of all related equipment
•        Provide AV support to large corporate meetings and maintain all related equipment
•        Manage the Hughes/EchoStar network and on-going relationship with the vendor
•        Release produced materials across technical platforms to ensure they are received and viewed on deadline and without technical difficulties, track performance results
•        Follow all safety policies and procedures
•        Other duties as assigned

Hiring pay range: $70,145.00 - 92,065.00

Requirements (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities):

•        Experienced Video Producer and graphics designer with a creative eye
•        Ability to create video and imagery that bring to life ideas and concepts
•        Demonstrated project management skills and understanding of the creative development process
•        Video and graphics expertise at both a strategic and executional level
•        Proven track record of producing quality multimedia materials with a short turnaround time
•        Experience working with executive leaders in the production of high-quality video productions
•        Management of on-location audio/video pre-production, production, and post-production
•        Skilled with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word) and design software such as the Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects, Premiere) or equivalent
•        Skilled in interpersonal communication and project management, including written and oral presentation, and evaluation skills
•        Proven track record of working collaboratively with key business leaders in a corporate environment
•        Ability to accommodate quick-turnaround projects, multiple assignments, and meet deadlines accordingly
•        Experience working with Hughes/EchoStar Network communications platform preferred

Education: Bachelor's degree in related area and/or equivalent experience/training

 Experience: Minimum of five years of related experience in video production along with a minimum of three years of graphic design experience in internal communications or creative services

 Other: Position requires periodic evening and weekend work for events and shoots and travel throughout our trade areas of corporate, stores, and supply chain locations.

Physical: Ability to sit, stand, walk, kneel, stoop, and use stairs, reach, pull and lift objects. Reach outward or reach above shoulder, lift/carry 10 lbs. or less, push/pull 10 lbs. or less, standing, sitting, walking, climbing, crawling, squatting, kneeling, bending, handling, visual demands including close work, auditory demands including phone equipment, and ability to operate a computer.
