LMD–A Change Agency, is an established, fast-paced, full-service branding, marketing, and communications firm in the Baltimore-Washington corridor, is seeking a talented Video Producer to join its award winning creative team. Candidate must possess superior organizational skills, be a problem solver and is a critical thinker to join its team.
As a Video Producer, you will use your experience in production to plan and implement all of the elements of a video project. Your duties include securing the rights to intellectual property, managing logistics for the film set and overseeing post-production tasks like editing and video animation.
This position requires U.S. citizenship.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with Video Department, Account Managers, and Client to develop schedules for production and post-production.
- Hire and coordinate labor and talent needed for various size productions such as Actors, Grips, DPs, Production Companies, etc.
- Secure locations and acquire necessary documentation and permits.
- Research production houses and freelancers to establish their capabilities and specialties so that we pick the right crew for the right job.
- Create a resource guide of outside flex resources. Editors, Production Companies’,
Translators, Writers, etc.
- Manage all finances and reconciliations on all productions.
- Acquire quotes, invoices, and all required pre-production documentation from vendors to be reviewed by the accounting team.
- Work with production crew and post-production staff to develop workflows and procedures that keep schedules flexible and on-time.
- familiarity with deliverables in social formats and slated/unslated forms, closed/open
captioning, 508 compliances, etc.
Qualifications:
- Must be a U.S. citenzeship,
- Minimum of three (5) years’ of demonstrated experience.
- Must be highly organization and attention to detail and possess proven problem-solving skills.
- You need to be the intermediary between creative staff and client, with the ability to develop schedules.
- Skilled at project management software, Frame IO, Backstage, Adobe, Excel, Google slides, etc.
- Experience or understanding of the entire Video Production process from start to finish.
- Experience working as or with a video editor and other post-production staff.
Job Location(s):
- This position is hybrid with some in office time and possible travel required.
