About Your Next Opportunity
HTC is seeking a Video Editor to support our growing global marketing team.
The Video Editor's primary responsibility will be assembling recorded video footage, applying artistic editing techniques, and creating finished, broadcast-worthy projects that accurately reflect the vision of the production director.
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Ingest and label raw material.
- Backup and archive raw material and final projects.
- Edit videos to meet specified formats and target project lengths.
- Insert dialog, sound effects, music, graphics, and special effects.
- Color correcting and matching.
- Create subtitles.
- Encoding for multiple deliverable formats.
- Consult with the director and production team throughout the project.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Abilities)
- Bachelor's degree in film studies, cinematography, or related field.
- 1+ year experience working as a Video Editor.
- Hands-on experience with Adobe Creative Suite, including Premiere, After Effects, Media Encoder, and Audition.
- Familiarity with 3D composition and special effects.
- Portfolio of completed video productions.
- Ability to work on a tight schedule.
- Ability to translate ideas into complete projects.
Working Conditions
- Primary work location is indoors.
- The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working at a computer.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and long periods of detailed work with VR equipment.
- Ability to travel up to 15% of the time.
- The employee is regularly required to sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

At the time of posting, HTC's estimated annual base salary for this position is $58,327 - $74,156 USD. Individual compensation will vary based on job-related factors, including candidate skills, qualifications, experience, business needs, and geographic location. This position is also eligible for participation in our discretionary bonus programs.
