The Credit Management team serves as the front-line defense for our lending team by conducting in-depth credit analysis and ensuring we are conforming with internal credit policies/guidelines and external regulatory requirements. This leadership position will cover a diverse portfolio of U.S. headquartered clients in Corporates (revenues $50 million+) and Global Banking (revenues $5 billion+). As you progress, you will build a solid understanding of HSBC products and services within Commercial Banking and the broader organization.
As our Credit Manager, you will proactively monitor the ongoing credit quality of your assigned portfolio. This may involve preparing Annual and Quarterly Reviews, tracking and testing covenants, assisting with credit reviews, internal audits, etc. In addition, you will lead the underwriting process on syndicated and bilateral deals, while collaborating with various partners, including junior bankers, our internal Legal/Compliance team, to complete the process from start to end. Using experienced judgment, you will also recommend appropriate risk ratings for each customer/transaction.
For this role, HSBC targets a fixed pay range between $143,100.00 and $214,600.00.
The final fixed pay offer will depend on the candidate and a number of variables, including but not limited to, role responsibilities, skill set, depth of experience and education, licensing/certification requirements, internal relativity, and specific work location.
