Vice President, Procurement (North America)

Leadman & Associates is looking for a seasoned Vice President, Procurement (North America) to make a significant impact within a renowned organization in New York, New York on a hybrid work schedule (in office 2-3X/week). You will report to the SVP, North American Operations.

The role offers the chance to drive value maximization and margin improvement through strategic category management. By spearheading procurement transformation initiatives and aligning with global strategies, the VP of Procurement will play a pivotal role in shaping the company's success trajectory.

In this role, you will:

• Lead procurement operations for North America(USA, Canada) and contribute to the Procurement Leadership Team

• Set ambitious targets, evaluate performance, andnurture a team of talented individuals

• Foster a culture of excellence, continuous improvement, and sustainability

• Be responsible for leading procurement operations across a substantial indirect/direct spend exceeding $600M

The ideal candidate, will have:

• Bachelor's Degree (required), MBA (preferred)

• 10+ years Procurement experience in Advertising and Promotion, Professional services and Direct spend categories ideallyin CPG/consumer / FMCG industry

• Successful, multi-year track record delivering change for complex organizations

• Understands both brand development & creative processes as well as production processes and needs

• Category management and TCO principles

• Strong negotiating skills

• World class supplier relationship skills
