We're searching for a strong VP of Purchasing and Logistics for a renowned Resort Group in Orlando, FL. This person will report to the Senior Vice President of Development and Operations and provide leadership, direction and motivation to the Purchasing and Logistics team regarding team member culture, procurement, sourcing, and execution of projects. The Vice President will be responsible for overseeing all Purchasing and Logistics projects and team company-wide, with the intent to restructure and redevelop the department.

What are we looking for?
- Minimum of a Baccalaureate degree from an accredited college/university with a concentration in business, finance, or hospitality management. Experience in lieu of a degree may be considered
- Must have a minimum of ten (10+) years of Purchasing and/or Logistics experience
- Must have a minimum of ten (5+) years in Hospitality Supply Chain Management
- Must have a minimum of five (5+) years executive management level experience in purchasing and logistics
- Be able to lift and/or move up to 50+ pounds.
- Travel required
- Lead a team culture to provide exceptional service to the end user

- Oversee all facets of Procurement, FF&E, Sourcing, Warehouse and Logistics, including personnel, project management, contract negotiation, brand specifications, etc.
- Lead all sourcing efforts, securing partnerships with manufacturers, distributors and supplies to align with brand specifications
- Form relationships with key stakeholders throughout the company with a focus on service, quality, and cost savings
- Develop new processes and system to support the purchasing operations
- Communicates department visions, develop strategic plan, implement process and training, and track results
- Develop and update FF&E and OS&E brand specifications
