Reporting to the Regional Vice President, this Vice President of Operations & Hospitality is responsible for the overall operation of a major contracted-services account. This individual will lead a cross functional team and deliver results that exceed client expectations. This position will work to continuously ensure the organization is delivering operational excellence, while also identifying innovative and creative services and solutions to expand on our clients' requirements, working closely with internal and external partners. This role is NYC based with 50% travel nationally. Passion and knowledge of the NYC culinary scene is a must!


COMPENSATION: The salary rate for this position ranges from $170,000.00 to $200,000.00, depending on circumstances including an applicant's skills and qualifications, certain degrees and certifications, prior job experience, market data, and other relevant factors. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant). This is Aramark's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of compensation for this position as of the time of posting.


If hired, employee will be in an ?at-will position? and Aramark reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time AND FOR ANY REASON, including, BUT NOT LIMITED TO for reasons related to individual performance, Aramark or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

Job Responsibilities

  • Working closely with client to ensure innovation and creative solutions lead to desired client visions.
  • Coordinating and directing all activities including financial performance, employee training and development, compliance, employee performance and talent management.
  • Delivering and maintaining strong financial results.
  • Working with client and leadership on all contractual obligations and KPI?s to establish and maintain a mutually beneficial business relationship that ensures account retention.
  • Drive new sales growth within existing client base and ensure the delivery of exceptional customer service to our clients.
  • Develop short- and long-term operational strategies in partnership with senior team members and lead the design, development, and execution of those strategies to achieve measurable outcomes in a timely, cost-effective manner.
  • Lead and manage a highly productive, motivated and driven team through strong communication, empowerment, reward, and coaching techniques. Maintain close working relationships with partner group in functional areas, including Sales, Human Resources, Finance, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Compliance.
  • Partner with the business unit leaders and other key stakeholders to inspire change and implement new business processes.
  • Travel requirement: 50%

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

  • Experience managing high volume and multi-account responsibility; with at least 5 or more years of experience.
  • A strong background in hospitality and operations.
  • Knowledge of current trends and innovations to drive client value.
  • Effective communication and ability to engage with frontline associates, managers, clients, and customers.
  • Track record demonstrating strong leadership skills.
  • Financial and creative problem-solving acumen.
  • Ability to build and develop a formidable team.
  • Experience working with a high-profile client.
  • Excellent relationship-building and team-building skills.
