Vice President of Marketing (West Coast U.S. - Remote)

This role is fully remote within Washington or California and will require light travel for quarterly in-person meetings. You must have at least four years leading a marketing organization at a Series A/B venture-backed B2B SaaS startup, ideally within fintech or ecommerce, marketing to SMB/Mid-Market customers. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, you will drive strategic planning and overall execution of Webgility's brand, product marketing, growth marketing, and content strategies. Webgility has an established position in the ecommerce accounting automation space, we're looking for you to take us to the next level by expanding existing and discovering new growth channels.
Here's what you'll drive:
- Design and implementation of a comprehensive marketing strategy, capitalizing on new growth channels, and optimization of the customer presale experience.
- Ownership of Webgility's positioning, pricing, and messaging across all internal and external communications while working closely with product and sales leadership to ensure consistency and alignment.
- Customer acquisition by increasing lead volume via targeted marketing campaigns by utilizing digital marketing channels and partnerships.
- Overseeing Product Marketing thought-leadership, identifying new market opportunities, supporting new product launches and ensuring GTM teams are properly enabled.
- Ownership and reporting on Marketing KPIs to identify opportunities and risk.
- Recruiting and leadership of an independent and collaborative marketing team, providing mentorship to junior team members, and ensuring a results-driven focus.
Here's what you'll bring to our executive table:
- Must have at least 4 years leading a marketing team at a Series A/B B2B SaaS startup selling to SMB/Mid-Market customers.
- Ideally have experience at a fintech or ecommerce Series A/B startup or have relevant domain knowledge.
- You lead from the front.
- Proven ability to create marketing strategies resulting in revenue growth.
- Embracing the seat at the leadership table, having a point of view, and when needed being able to engage in constructive debate.
- Proven ability to recruit, develop, and motivate high performing marketing team members.
- Strong mastery of SaaS KPIs, CRM reporting, and Marketing operations best-practices.
- High-level cross-functional and bi-directional written and verbal communication skills.
- A proactive, growth-mindset that embraces adversity and continuous learning.

Compensation and Benefits:
$200,000 - $250,000 annual base salary (based on experience)
20% bonus (paid quarterly)
