Job description

Overview:
The Vice President of Marketing is responsible to direct the development and execution of strategic marketing, advertising, promotional communications, public relations, website, and Intranet content to ensure quality service.

Responsibilities:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Includes the following non-inclusive list. Other duties may be assigned. All duties are to be performed in compliance with applicable laws, regulations and Credit Union policies and procedures.

Planning & Execution
  • Develop and implement both short-term and long-term strategic branding and marketing plans to achieve Frontwave strategic and business objectives.
  • Initiate and manage well-planned member and product innovation strategies including markets, products, and member segments.
  • Collaborate with other operational teams to identify and ultimately drive execution of our overarching strategies, while proactively guiding activities that are memorable, secure, and impactful experiences for our employees and members.
  • Lead an engaged and efficient Marketing Communications team by proactively managing efforts that offer our members quality products & services, and ensure timely, accurate, and informative communications, while promoting our brand, offering positive member experience, and driving product acquisition.
  • In collaboration with management and key stakeholders modify product direction based on voice of member, industry standards, organizational performance, competition, emerging trends/risks, and marketplace/regulatory changes.
  • Build and develop the team and technology required to collect, test, measure, and analyze marketing metrics necessary to identify trends in the marketplace, member behavior, program effectiveness, and consumer behavior.
  • Manage agency, vendor, and supplier partners as required, and review effectiveness of partnership on an annual basis.
Organizational Leadership
  • Demonstrates and champions organizational culture and values as a member of the Leadership Team.
  • Coach and develop team members, utilizing their strengths to maximize contributions, align with strategies, and ensure high engagement.
  • Promote a high performing culture of excellence through accountability, continuous improvement, and progressive, innovative solutions for the team.
  • Identifies the capabilities needed within the team and develops and/or attracts talent accordingly to ensure that the team is meeting organizational goals and objectives.
  • Leverage data-driven decisions to lead the team and identifies/refines capabilities to enable achievement of team goals and strategies.
  • Assigns duties and organizes cross-training of roles and responsibilities.
  • Perform all duties in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and Credit Union policies and procedures.
Digital Transformation
  • Drives the digital-transformation aspects of Frontwave’s marketing and member experience efforts to continually evolve with market, industry, and consumer changes.
  • Monitors and evaluates the activities, products, and services of the competition and leading companies that excel in member experience, both within and outside the financial services industry.
  • Places a high priority on the ethical utilization of data to understand our members, their needs, and desires to provide financial solutions for a better life.
Process Excellence
  • Acts as an inspiring leader leading through Agile methods to increase member value, time to value, and to optimize cost to serve.
  • Applies experience-focused and human-centered design mentalities to develop vision, values, goals, outcomes, and evaluation methods for products and promotions.
  • Develop evaluation methods and build processes to ensure accuracy when crafting and maintaining analysis reports.
Qualifications:
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelors Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field required. MBA preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in transformative marketing for retail and/or strategic customer experience.
  • 7+ years of proven experience developing, implementing, and managing a highly successful and high performing marketing department.
  • Proven success in planning, organizing, leading and oversight of people and activities.
  • Proven experience leading change and driving innovation.
  • Proven leadership and a passion for developing talent.
  • Ability to foster positive working relationships with the team, vendors, and other credit union departments.
  • Financial institution or retail sales experience.
  • Knowledge of both depository and consumer loan regulations and procedures.
Salary Range: $132,092.48-$198,138.72
