Tennessee Orthopaedic Alliance is the largest orthopaedic surgery group in Nashville and Middle Tennessee. At TOA, our Vice President (VP) of Finance is responsible for directing TOA's analytical and financial plans and policies. The VP of Finance will report to the CFO and will work with the CFO in overseeing planning and forecasting processes, design, and production of reports, and providing insights to promote improvements for efficiency, scalability, and growth.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage financial initiatives, budgeting processes, and KPI tracking including developing action plans to ensure annual financial objectives are met.
  • Monitor performance by measuring and analyzing results.
  • Evaluating and driving cost-saving initiatives, identifying opportunities for operational efficiency and profitability enhancement.
  • Guiding the finance team, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, forecasting, analysis, and compliance with accounting best practices.
  • Manage cash flow, optimizing working capital, liquidity, and capital allocation to support ongoing operations and future growth.
  • Lead the audit/review process to ensure timely reporting.
  • Manage the payroll and A/P process including the implementation of accounting systems, reporting, and controls.
  • Manage insurance coverage, including compliance.
  • Manage contract compliance. 
  • Serve as the finance lead in merger projects including due diligence and integrating financial systems and processes.
  • Manage the finance and accounting team, overseeing growth opportunities, bridging skills gaps, and managing talent for team growth.
  • Promote a culture of high performance and continuous improvement, including a commitment to quality.

Requirements

  • Must be willing to relocate to the Middle TN area
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting.
  • CPA license.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in the healthcare industry.
