Position & Company Synopsis

15+ year old equity sponsored company with an ability to service home, commercial, and industrial customers by installing, repairing, and maintaining ventilation equipment. We offer a variety of services including maintenance contracts. Our experienced and certified technicians are licensed and have experience working locally in your area and can show up at your door upon request at a moment's notice.

Job Summary: As the VP of Accounting, you will hold a strategic position in our organization, directly reporting to the CEO. This role is integral to our continued growth and success, with the potential for evolving into a CFO role. You will take charge of structuring and leading the finance and accounting department, transitioning from outsourced services to an in-house team.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement robust financial strategies aligned with our aggressive growth plans.
• Manage all aspects of Accounting, including overseeing a lean inventory of roofing products and handling straightforward accounts receivable processes.
• Spearhead the budgeting process, creating and refining financial models for better decision-making.
• Assess and manage technical accounting aspects, especially concerning business combination transactions.
• Liaise with banking institutions, optimizing our corporate treasury functions and resolving issues efficiently.
• Direct the production of financial statements and quarterly board decks, ensuring compliance with GAAP.
• Oversee a 13-week cash flow forecasting model to maintain financial health.
• Supervise an experienced team responsible for various corporate accounts, including payroll and debt-related activities.
• Coordinate with external consultants to enhance cloud-based ERP systems, bolstering reporting capabilities.
• Serve as the main point of contact for external auditors and banking partners.

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated capability in financial management, team leadership, and process improvement.
• Strong grasp of GAAP, financial reporting, budgeting, and treasury management.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with various stakeholders.

Compensation and Benefits:

• A competitive salary range of $180k - $240k.
• Performance-based bonus up to 20%.
• Equity options in a rapidly growing company.
