Responsibilities

Hexagon Asset Lifecycle Intelligence Division (Hexagon) is seeking to hire a Vice President, Lifecycle Solutions Strategy within our worldwide Portfolio Strategy & Enablement (PSE) team.  Hexagon is the world's leading provider of enterprise digital projects and digital assets software, enabling smarter planning, design, construction, operation, maintenance, and securing of industrial facilities and infrastructure.

Hexagon's Smart Digital Reality (SDR) vision spans the full lifecycle of many types of assets, including plants, facilities, infrastructure, and equipment. The SDR vision requires data from every phase of the asset life cycle to seamlessly extend beyond individual product silos, such that it can support the lifecycle digital thread, allowing customers to extract maximum value from their Hexagon and 3rd party technology investments.

 

The Lifecycle Solutions segment will own our digital thread strategy and innovation, along with the associated platforms, technologies, and products, including services and products such as AI, data & application integration, asset engineering information management, and 3D visualization.

 

We are seeking someone who can:

  • Aligned with Hexagon's strategic drivers, develop Lifecycle Solutions strategies and execution plans for innovative product and solution offerings:
    • Leverage Hexagon and 3rd party technologies to innovate and deliver new software and service offerings
    • Manage the interface between Hexagon and Hexagon's Innovation Hub and other Hexagon divisions to ensure Hexagon's extensive technology portfolio (e.g., HxDR, Xalt, Luciad) is proactively leveraged in the Hexagon portfolio strategy
  • Lead go-to market (GTM) strategy development, including:
    • SWOT, solution-market fit, audience and buyers, market analysis & sizing, competitive analysis, pricing, licensing, etc.
    • Creation of enablement content, including learning and development materials for Sales, Presales, Marketing, Services, and Partners
    • Engage with Hexagon's Marketing organization to develop demand and lead generation strategies and plans
  • Measure the Lifecycle Solutions segment performance and drive continuous improvement
  • Work with Hexagon's Partners and Alliances team to:
    • Define technology partnering models (commercial and GTM) and plans to leverage the expertise, infrastructure, intellectual property or customer base of partners to drive Hexagon revenue, reach new audiences, increase distribution, and/or enhance existing products
    • Develop Hexagon's solutions marketplace strategy and related partnerships

Qualifications

 

  • Minimum 12 years of experience in an international organization, preferable in a Software organization, ideally with customers in the Engineering, Construction, Operations and Maintenance industries
  • Relevant experience in an international organization, preferably leading software technology strategy with an emphasis on industrial facilities and infrastructure industries
  • Deep knowledge and experience in leveraging new technologies to develop new and augmented software and services offerings
  • Strong understanding of relevant modern SaaS platform and hyperscaler technologies, e.g. Azure and AWS
  • Experienced in enabling a partner ecosystem, both technically and commercially, allowing partners to develop complimentary and value-adding solutions on the Hexagon Cloud platform.
  • Experience with process improvement and organizational change is a plus; MBA is a plus
  • Fluency in English
  • Able to travel, domestically and globally, 25-30%.
  • Position is remote with location flexible. Huntsville, AL or Houston, TX preferred but not required
