ScionHealth is recruiting for a Vice President, Human ResourcesBusiness Partner to join our team!

Preferred candidates will live in the Nashville metro area.


Job Summary

The Vice President, Human ResourcesBusiness Partner is a full time Hybrid role that will be based in our Louisville or Nashville Support Center. This role leads and oversees the deployment of ScionHealth’s human capital strategy across the Specialty and Community Hospital Divisions and serves as a trusted advisor to the Division Presidents and other senior leaders to align HR strategy for the Divisions to business strategy. This HR leader will establish foundational processes, streamline HR functions, provide clear communication, and foster effective teams focused on addressing the day-to-day HR needs of the division’s field operations, including through execution of key initiatives as well as day-to-day guidance on various employee relations and performance management matters.


Essential Functions

  • Serves as a trusted advisor to Division Presidents, providing sound HR leadership and input on matters involving divisional changes, conflict management, officer selection, performance, and career trajectory.
  • Responsible for developing, aligning, and executing strategic initiatives related to employee relations, including workforce retention, workplace culture, employee engagement and wellness.
  • Guides operators on day-to-day people management, including compensation, performance management and coaching, responding to employee concerns or complaints, executive and key employee succession planning, managing terminations and related risks.
  • Partners with Talent Acquisition, Benefits, Compensation, Labor Relations and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion on matters impacting divisional operations and employees.
  • Collaborates with HR, Compliance and Legal resources on internal investigations implicating HR policies, procedures, or practices.
  • Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements related to HR, providing oversight to mitigate legal risk and promote compliance with local, state, and federal requirements.
  • Regular and reliable attendance; Perform other duties as assigned; Approximate percent of time required to travel: Up to 50%

Qualifications


Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or a related field or any equivalent combination of education, experience, and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Experience

  • Minimum of 10 - 15 years’ experience in Human Resources or a related field, including a minimum of 8 years’ experience managing teams or individuals. Experience with a unionized workforce preferred.

  • Depending on a candidate’s qualifications, this role may be filled at a different level.
