Job description

Sisense is seeking a dynamic and strategic Vice President of Enterprise Sales to lead our sales efforts and drive revenue growth within the enterprise market segment. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive sales strategy, cultivating strategic relationships with enterprise clients, and leading a high-performing sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets. WHAT YOU'LL DO: 

  • Sales Strategy and Leadership: Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to drive revenue growth within the enterprise market segment, aligning with company objectives and priorities.
  • Team Management: Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of Enterprise Sales professionals to achieve and exceed sales targets, providing guidance, support, and coaching as needed.
  • Customer Acquisition: Identify, prospect, and cultivate strategic relationships with enterprise clients, including Fortune 500 companies and industry leaders, to generate new business opportunities and drive revenue growth.
  • Pipeline Management: Oversee the sales pipeline, ensuring accurate forecasting and proactive management of opportunities through the sales cycle, from lead generation to deal closure.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, customer success, and finance, to ensure alignment and maximize customer value.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to inform sales strategies, product development initiatives, and go-to-market approaches.
  • Performance Analysis: Analyze sales performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement strategies to optimize sales efficiency and effectiveness, driving continuous improvement and innovation.

WHAT YOU'VE ACCOMPLISHED SO FAR:

  • You have 10+ years of progressive experience in Enterprise Sales, preferably in the analytics, BI, or SaaS industry.
  • You have a proven track record of success in building and leading high-performing Enterprise Sales teams to achieve revenue targets and exceed quotas.
  • You have demonstrated the ability to develop and nurture strategic relationships with enterprise clients, resulting in significant revenue growth and customer success.
  • You have a strong understanding of analytics, BI, and data-driven solutions, with the ability to articulate value propositions and address customer needs.
  • You have excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • You are a strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset, entrepreneurial spirit, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • You have a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (preferred)

CO Posting: The base pay range for candidates located in Colorado is $200,000-$225,000 (/yr). The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to market location, internal equity, job-related knowledge, experience and training, education, skill sets, and other business and organizational needs. A bonus, equity, commissions, and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, depending on the position offered. This position may be considered a promotional opportunity. The disclosed salary range represents an estimate of the base compensation for candidates who can or will be located in Colorado. This range may vary with respect to candidates whose primary work location is outside those jurisdictions.
