We welcome both experienced technicians and new graduates to apply. We are open to filling full-time or part-time roles as we are prioritizing finding the best fit for our clinic and team.

We have a robust team across three local clinics that include many experienced and talented CVTs, Assistants, and receptionists to support the addition of more doctors to our growing team. We believe that adequate staff is having approximately 2-3 VTs per DVM with additional support from Assistants and Receptionists. Our staffing goals include maximizing the efficiency of our DVMs by utilizing support staff effectively.

About Us
Byron Pet Clinic is a companion animal practice located less than 10 minutes West of Rochester, MN. BPC has been an integral piece of the community since the mid-90s; the former owner retired in 2023 and has been owned by Dr. Garren Kelly since. We also have two sister clinics: Meadow View Veterinary Clinic, that is less than 10 minutes East of BPC, and Stewartville Animal Clinic that is approximately 20 min Southeast of BPC.

Our ideal candidate will be interested in providing quality medical and surgical care to patients while delivering exceptional service to clients. We are looking for a CVT that can communicate effectively, has a desire to learn and grow, and is self-motivated. Our experienced CVTs are willing to provide mentorship to anyone that wants it.

We feel strongly about supporting all our staff with a relatively flexible schedule that balances clinic needs with personal needs in a way that is fair for everyone. We offer very limited/minimal weekends and evening shifts, generally on a rotational basis at the Meadow View location. Our wages are competitive with industry and the local market, and we offer many great benefits.

• -- Non-Credentialed Technicians wages between $17 and $22 per hour based on experience and education
• -- Newly credentialed CVTs start between $18 – $20 per hour-- CVTs with at least 3 years of experience can expect to make between $22 and $28 hour based on years of experience, technical skills, ability to communicate, and education/specialty.

• Staff are scheduled between the hours of:

Monday, Wednesday, & Friday – 7:30am to 6pmTuesdays – 7:30am to 6pm (or 7:30pm for rotating late shift at Meadow View)Fridays – 7:30 am to 5pmSaturdays – 8am to 12pm (rotating at Meadow View)

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
