About the Role
As Veterinary Technician, you will support our emergency and critical care service by creating a positive, low-stress atmosphere for our patients, clients and team. Experience with veterinary ER/ICU is required.
Duties will include:
- Patient triage and assessment
- Compassionate and attentive care for our hospitalized patients
- Client education and care
- Venipuncture and catheter placement
- Medication and IV infusion preparation and administration
- Surgical preparation and assisting
- Anesthesia monitoring and recovery
- Radiology and diagnostics
- Lab sample collection and processing
- Safe and effective patient handling and restraint
- Medical recordkeeping
