As a Surgery Veterinary Technician Assistant at CARE, you will provide basic services in our surgery department including animal care, cleaning and sterilizing instruments and equipment, pulling instruments for surgery, assisting technicians and doctors in daily tasks, feeding, exercising, kennel cleaning, and maintenance. While assistants do help with a variety of procedures, cleaning the hospital and keeping the surgical area up to standards, the Husbandry of animals and the hospital is a huge part of the job.

This is a fast-paced position in our busy hospital that is open 24/7. Applicants must be team players who love animals and are available to work 10-hour shifts four days a week. Qualified applicants have the ability to communicate well, showing care and concern for pets. Previous experience is a huge plus, but we will train the right person
