What Account Management contributes to Cardinal Health:
Direct Sales is responsible for driving sales and services to new and/or existing customers through face-to-face or telephone contact to meet individual and organizational sales objectives.
Account Management is responsible for managing the success of the relationship with an assigned set of customers in order to achieve the goals and objectives identified by the customer and Cardinal Health. Responsible for long-term relationship building between the customer, Cardinal Health, and other professional organizations (Group Purchasing Organizations, etc). The complexity of the solution, product, or services offered is variable and can range from simple to moderately complex selling.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and target new business and market development opportunities and customer relationship development
- Assuming direct accountability for all aspects of the selling process within an assigned customer base
- Provide trainings to internal and external clients
- Participate in contracts negotiations, analyzes and presents market data
- Analyzing opportunities and developing strategies to drive growth
- Process customers’ orders, may perform collections effort
- Participates in tradeshows and external activities, both in PR and outside of PR, as required
- Achieving 100% customer retention; prepares presentations, reports, written recommendations and statistical reports as appropriate and/or as requested by sales management
Qualifications:
- 4-8 years of sales experience in medical and pharmaceutical products in veterinary industry is required
- BA, BS or equivalent experience in related field or equivalent experience will be considered
- Full Bilingual English and Spanish verbal and written is required
- Microsoft Office Proficiency is required
- Proven product knowledge in business area
- Available to travel 10% of the time outside of PR
- This position will be field, will travel 100% of the island
- Active Puerto Rico Driver License is required
- Customer Service, Attention to Details and Sales Oriented skills
