We are looking for a detail-oriented person who is compassionate, up-beat and driven to join our amazing team as a Veterinary Client ServiceTeam Lead. The person in this role must be able to deliver top notch Client Service to both patients and their families. They must also be able to provide oversight and guidance to the staff at the front desk in a positive and productive manner. The role requires the ability to multi-task, work at a fast pace, have strong communication skills (both in-person and over the phone), and apply critical thinking skills. We require at least 3 years of veterinary clinic experience to ensure basic knowledge of scheduling, triaging, medications, and client education is established. We also require at least 1 year of leadership expereince and support staff training.
We are an AAHA accredited clinic, which practices high quality team-based care while providing exceptional Client Service. LFPC was opened in 2017 and is locally owned and operated. Our clinic focuses on providing both excellent veterinary care and Client Service. We focus on team-based care and a strong team culture. Primary Responsibilities:
- Communicate with clients in-person, by phone, and email
- Provide clear communication with doctors and support staff
- Use of multi-line phone, email, fax, and computer
- Schedule appointments using practice management software
- Triage emergency situations
- Take and fill prescription requests
- Process payments for services and products
- Clean and maintain reception area
- Check in inventory
- Develop, implement, and maintain standard operating procedures
- Provide oversight and focused attention to customer satisfaction
- Proactively look for ways to increase customer service levels and efficiencies in clinic processes
- Provide direction and answers to address client complaints and diffuse difficult situations or emotional situations with clients
- Identify systems-related problems and work collaboratively with clinical staff and management to resolve
- Lead with a positive attitude and collaborative work style
- Aid in staff development and training
- Coach team members on how to provide superior customer service performance and show appreciation for team successes
Requirements:
- At least 3 years experience in veterinary clinic with Client Service or receptionist experience required
- Previous leadership and support staff training experience required
- Foster collaborative relationships with other team members
- Exceptional organizational skills and accountability
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize assignments to complete work in a timely manner
- Must have strong communication skills, be able to work a multi-line phone system, basic computer skills, and have basic math and money handling skills.
- Must be comfortable working with dogs and cats
- Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 35 pounds.
- Endure sitting, standing, and walking on hard floor surfaces for extended period
Schedule
- Clinic is open 8am to 6pm Monday to Friday; and 8am to 1pm Saturdays
- Full-time employees are scheduled for 4 weekdays per week, and 2 Saturdays per month

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
