Shadow Hills Pet Clinic is actively looking for an experienced Veterinary Assistant. Here at Shadow Hills Pet Clinic, we believe in the importance of cross-training. The ideal candidate would be compassionate towards our patients, clients, and the team. We are looking for someone with at least two years of experience but are willing to train the right candidate. A positive and motivating attitude is a must. The ideal candidate would be confident in proper animal handling and restraint, rooming patients, assisting the technicians and veterinarians, helping with surgical recovery, drawing blood, and understanding the importance of client education and is a positive and supportive team player. **Pay Range $17-$18/per hour**
Requirements:

• 2+ years of prior veterinary experience
• Willing to cross-train for front desk responsibilities
• Knowledge of industry tools and equipment
• Experience with proper animal handling and restraint
• Positive team player willing to continue to learn
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Able to handle a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of care
• A positive and motivating attitude is a must
