Veterinary Assistant

Sheridan Animal Hospital has an exciting opportunity for a Veterinary Assistant to join our team!

Responsibilities:

• Assisting our amazing 4-doctor team
• Small animal handling and restraint
• Administering medications and injections
• pharmacy duties, and lab work
• Blood draws
• Client communication and education
• Completing general outpatient procedures
• Awareness of surroundings and noticing areas of need within the practice
• Ability to work patiently with clients in emotional states
• Ability to safely lift 40+ pounds unassisted

Full-time benefits:

• Pay Rate: $14.50-$16
