About the role: A our Veterinarian Researcher, you will be an integral part of our research team. Our current team boasts expertise in different areas of human research. Our Veterinaria Researcher will primarily:
- Oversee studies: Providing expert guidance on study design, protocols, and existing research processes.
- Consultation: Addressing inquiries from pet owners and pet health companies, ensuring clear and effective communication.
- Telehealth assessment: Occasionally assessing pets via telehealth to ensure their well-being throughout the study.
This role requires a time commitment of 2-5 hours per week.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with our research team to conceptualize and design impactful studies for pet health products.
- Ensure the well-being of participating pets by reviewing study protocols and procedures and providing essential feedback.
- Serve as a contact for study participants and clients, addressing their questions and concerns.
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent
- Effective communication skills with internal team members and external clients
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work autonomously and independently
- Experience in telehealth preferred
- Knowledge of pet supplements preferred
- Prior experience in research is preferred
