About the role: A our Veterinarian Researcher, you will be an integral part of our research team. Our current team boasts expertise in different areas of human research. Our Veterinaria Researcher will primarily:

• Oversee studies: Providing expert guidance on study design, protocols, and existing research processes.
• Consultation: Addressing inquiries from pet owners and pet health companies, ensuring clear and effective communication.
• Telehealth assessment: Occasionally assessing pets via telehealth to ensure their well-being throughout the study.

This role requires a time commitment of 2-5 hours per week.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with our research team to conceptualize and design impactful studies for pet health products.
• Ensure the well-being of participating pets by reviewing study protocols and procedures and providing essential feedback.
• Serve as a contact for study participants and clients, addressing their questions and concerns.

Qualifications:

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent
• Effective communication skills with internal team members and external clients
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work autonomously and independently
• Experience in telehealth preferred
• Knowledge of pet supplements preferred
• Prior experience in research is preferred

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $80.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 – 10 per week
