For more than 60 years, Skyway Animal Hospital, an independently-owned veterinary clinic in St. Petersburg, FL, has been recognized for delivering high-quality medicine and attentive patient care. Given the retirement of its founding DVM, Skyway wants to fill this vacancy with a skilled, motivated, veterinarian who would like to become an owner/partner.
Ownership will be acquired through production incentives and the process to ownership will be supportive, thanks to two F/T DVMs, one P/T veterinary surgeon, certified veterinary technicians, a hospital manager and front desk attendants. No buy-in is required.
While the Hospital is a legacy practice, it is poised for expansion, thanks to an infusion of private capital, a scheduled renovation and St. Petersburg’s record-breaking construction growth.
The 5,000 square-foot clinic will be upgraded to include an in-house laboratory, in-house and online pharmacy, digital radiology, ultrasound, cold laser, a full dental suite, a surgical suite, spacious treatment areas, Fear Free design, paperless medical records management system supported by modern IT network infrastructure and doctors’ offices.
At Skyway Animal Hospital, the team is committed to sustaining its five-star reputation while enhancing patient care for the next generation of pet owners. The selected candidate for this position must embrace this mission yet possess the decision-making, business and management skills required to make that goal a reality.
