Foxboro Animal Hospital is seeking a veterinarian for our 5-doctor, established practice! Our full-service hospital is conveniently located in Foxboro, MA between Boston and Providence, RI. We have a solid reputation among communities both near and far. Our strong doctor team encourages case sharing in a positive work environment, supported by a dedicated staff.
The practice facilities include surgery, dentistry, treatment, recovery, and x-ray rooms, as well as 6 exam rooms. Our diagnostics are updated and comprehensive. Our services include Wellness and Preventative Care, Diagnostics, Dentistry and Surgery. Our specialty services include Cardiology, Orthopedics, and Internal Medicine. Our focus is to welcome you, as the next generation of veterinarians, into our hospitals. We focus on your goals and work closely with you and the hospital teams to insure that your clinical goals are accomplished under veterinarian supervision and we meet your needs.
Our externships are flexible—they can range from one to eight weeks during the year. Your schedule will include days, potentially some evenings, and weekends.
We want you to improve and apply your skills of clinical skills, problem-solving and communication skills. Externs are encouraged to participate in all aspects of patient care and case discussion. In many cases as an extern with us, you will be participating in wet labs, clinical skills labs and medical rounds.
Requirements:
Be enrolled in an accredited DVM program.
You are authorized to work in the United States.
You must carry professional liability insurance. AVMA PLIT liability insurance is free for all student members of the AVMA. You may apply for this coverage on their website.
